Aikido Aikido is a sophisticated method of inner development and an art of self-defense. Training includes body conditioning, grappling techniques, and practice with the wooden staff. No experience necessary.
Aoinagi (Interim) Continues training beyond the beginning level, exploring deeper levels of martial arts experience, including weapons training, effective self-defense techniques and the artistic dimension through advanced Kata practice.
Aoinagi Karate All Levels Appropriate for all levels-from beginner to advanced. Includes a mix of traditional Japanese-Okinawan karate, aiki-jitsu (hand-arts) and self-defense. The class covers fundamentals (blocks, kicks, punches and strikes), kata (pre-arranged moves), and partner work and application. Classes emphasize developing strength, coordination, flexibility, concentration and overall physical fitness. Our goal is to teach you to be physically energized, mentally focused and resilient.
Arnis/Escrima Tapi Tapi A comprehensive Filipino martial art covering weapon and empty hand applications. The Arnis/Escrima System focuses on body mechanics and 5 basic concepts of: power, speed, distance timing, focus, transition and balance. Kombatan is a Filipino martial art, which combines several classical and modern styles ( Solo Baston, Doble Baston, Mano Mano, Espada y Daga, Daga sa Daga, Balisong, Bankaw, Dolo and Dumog).
Arnis/Escrima Tapi Tapi (Extended) The Kombatan-Modern Arnis Tapi Tapi Arnis System focuses on body mechanics and 5 basic concepts of: power, speed, distance timing, focus, transition and balance. Arnis/Escrima is a Filipino martial art, which combines several classical and modern styles (Solo Baston, Doble Baston, Mano Mano, Espada y Daga, Daga sa Daga, Balisong, Bankaw, Dolo and Dumog) . The student learns several different approaches to different attacks. Instructor is certified PSC (Philippine Sports Commission) International Instructor.
Brazilian Jiu Jitsu with Gi Learn the highly effective ground fighting/grappling methods from Brazil. Numerous chokes, arm locks, shoulder wrenches, escapes, defenses and strategies are worked from a variety of different angles and positions.
Capoeira – Beginning A Brazilian martial art form developed by the African slaves. Self-defense and combat exercises, full body workout, dance, music, acrobatics, all in one! Capoeira builds mental and physical strength, endurance and agility while creating an outlet for creativity and self-expression.
Capoeira De Angola Capoeira Angola is a practice of smooth rhythmic body-flow movements performed within an action and counteraction improvisational game of challenge. You will explore your body’s mobility and endurance through agile movements and test your mental sharpness by aiming to outsmart other players in this physical match of intellect and trickery. Accompanied by music and tradition Capoeira Angola is a tough but fun journey of personal expression through action and community.
Hapkido – Beginning Beginning: Yongmudo Hapkido is a mixed martial art that incorporates joint locks, kicks, punches, throws, and grappling into a comprehensive system for self-defense. You will get an excellent cardio workout and develop a variety of skills in a safe, controlled environment.
Hapkido – Intermediate Based on the experience level of those enrolled, this class will allow experienced students to expand upon and learn advanced techniques and control while sparring with an increased focus on physical fitness and coordination. For new students, this class will focus more on techniques and less on physical impact and cardio, with an emphasis on joint locks, takedowns, and a more limited set of traditional Hapkido kicks. All students will learn advanced topics including weapons use and defense, takedown techniques, etc. New students are welcome provided they are concurrently taking the beginning class or have prior Hapkido experience.
Iaido – Japanese Swordsmanship Iaido is the art of Japanese swordsmanship. This style of swordsmanship (Muso Jikiden Eishin Ryu), founded over 450 years ago, is one of the most widely practiced style of swordsmanship today. Students start with the basics of swordsmanship, and from there, will progress to learning the applied use of the sword through the waza and kata practice of the MJER curriculum.
Jeet Kune Do A mixed martial arts style that intertwines Filipino Kali, Wing Chun, Muay Thai, French Savate and Indonesian martial arts.
Judo This martial art and Olympic sport teaches the principle of flexibility in the application of throwing, grappling, learning how to fall and submission techniques.
Kendo – Advanced This martial art studies the art of Japanese Samurai sword. This activity has evolved into one of Japan’s major sporting activities.

Today, it has evolved into one of Japan’s major sporting activities. This martial art studies the art of Japanese Samurai sword. Kobudo – Beginning This class covers classical Okinawan forms of weapons combat. One starts with the Bo staff and, through disciplined practice, may advance to other weapons.

Muy Thai – Beginning Explore the Art of Eight Limbs and develop proficiency in kicking, punching, kneeing, elbowing as well as defense. Basics of clinching will also be introduced.

San Soo Kung Fu Kung Fu San Soo is an ancient hand-to-hand fighting system developed by Buddhist monks based on punching, kicking, leverages, throws, body dynamics, forms and weapons. In this class students will learn fundamental aspects of hand-to-hand combat.
Taekwondo – Beginning This class focuses on the traditional aspects of Taekwondo as a martial art with conditioning, kicking, stance work, self-defense application and free sparring. All levels welcome.

T’ai Chi As one of the most well known styles of internal martial arts, Tai Chi focuses on understanding proper body alignment and mechanics. The signature slow speed of Tai Chi centers the mind and provides time for students to realign their body structures. Also known as “shadow boxing’ in ancient times, Tai Chi was feared by many because of its subtle and deadly techniques. However, because of its benefits in health in modern times, many people practice Tai Chi recreationally to calm the mind and recover from injury.
Tai chi – Competition Workout Known more popularly as Kung Fu, Chinese Martial Arts (Wushu) is one of the most well known martial arts styles in the world. Wushu emphasizes on speed, agility, and power. Through proper and rigorous training, students learn how to move agilely while still executing powerful strikes. Weapons are also a very signature part of Wushu but will only be taught with instructor permission. Students will learn more advanced climbs, wraps, and drops with a strong emphasis on fluidity, technique and control. Must be proficient in all previous levels.

Wushu Weapons Wushu is a no-contact Chinese Martial Art that emphasizes body coordination, agility and power. As an intermediate/advanced class, this class focuses on refining jump kicks for students who have previously studied them.
